Empty Position Report

This report contains details of each position available to store specimens within the selected container.

Steps to export

Navigate to container → Overview page → Export

2. A .zip file containing empty position report in .csv format is exported. file like below-containing data of empty rows, columns, and positions in the container.

Column Names	Explanation

Column Names	Explanation
Name	Unique name of container
Barcode	Barcode of the container where empty position is identified
Container Display name	Name of the container set by user for ease of accessibility
Container Hierarchy	Hierarchy of container E.g., Freezer → Rack → Box
Container type	if any container type is defined during creation, it is mentioned in this column
Stores Specimen	Denotes if specimen can be stored in the specific position
Row	The row number of the empty containers.
Column	The column number of the empty containers.
Position	The position number of empty containers.
