How to view additional specimen details in catalogs?

This only applies to the ‘Specimen-based' catalog. Refer to Specimen vs Count Based Catalog to know the Catalog types in OpenSpecimen.

If there are many columns in a catalog, it will lead to horizontal scrolling. Additionally, it is challenging to focus on the details of the specimen you are looking for when there are many rows and columns.

You can use the ‘Specimen Details' (Eye Icon) button to open a pop-up to see all the details of a specimen. This icon is displayed only if the specimen identifier is part of the catalog query’s results view.
