Self Sign Up and Auto Approval

This option becomes visible only when the feature is enabled in the Settings. Generally, most customers opt not to use this feature, as they prefer to prevent users from signing up independently.

Click on ‘Sign up’ on the top left, fill in the details and submit

  • The admins will receive an email notification.

  • Only a Super Admin can approve your user account, and assign roles and privileges.

  • Once approved or rejected, you will receive an email with the login information and how to set up the password.

Auto approval

In version 9.1 and beyond, the auto-approve user feature has been introduced. This functionality allows users who sign up to be automatically granted a predefined user role.

This feature is particularly beneficial for providing researcher users with access to catalogs.

Auto Approve Users

Enable automatic approval of new user signup requests.

  • Enabled 

  • Disabled

If Disabled accounts have to be approved manually by Super Admins

Default Signup Institute

Default institute to be assigned to the new user.

 

It should be an existing Institute. 

Default Signup User Role

Default role to assign.
