Lock / Unlock Users

The user account will get locked in 3 cases:

  1. The user has tried the maximum number of failed login attempts (configured in Settings).

  2. The user is inactive for the 'N' number of days.

  3. Admin manually locked another user.

To unlock a user account, search for the user's account → From the user overview page, click 'Unlock'. The user is notified via email that his/her account is locked or unlocked.

If the super admin account is locked, other super admins can unlock it.

Email Notifications

Users receive an email 5 days before their account is scheduled to be locked, if they haven’t logged into the application for the number of days defined in the system setting ‘Inactive Account’.

These messages cannot be disabled, as they serve as a heads-up to prevent users from being locked out.

If you prefer that users never get locked out, you can update the ‘Inactive Account’ setting to 0. This will ensure accounts are never locked and no reminder emails are sent.
