Configuring SAML Users

SAML is used only for authentication. Authorization has to be configured within OpenSpecimen. SAML groups are not supported.

To configure SAML-based users:

1. Select the ‘Domain’ field in the user add/edit page

2. Select the domain name configured during SAML configuration

3. The login name field should match the configured user ID attribute during SAML configuration.
