Specimen Events CSV

Listed below are 2 sample event templates with descriptions for all the fields:

  1. Go to the collection protocols list page, click on the 'Import' button, and select option 'Biospecimen Data' OR
  2. Go to the participants list page of the CP, click on the 'More' button, and select the option 'Biospecimen Data.'
  3. Select 'Frozen Event' from the 'Select Record Type' specimen's dropdown and click on 'Download Template File' to download the template file.
  4. Enter all valid data in the template file as mentioned in the below 'Data Dictionary' table
  5. Upload the filled template file in the 'Input Records File' field, select 'Import Type' as 'Create' to create or 'Update' to update specimen frozen event, or 'Update Else Create' to either create or update record. For the 'Update Else create' feature, please refer to Create & Update in Single Bulk Operation.
  6. Click on the 'Validate and Import' button
  7. Refer'Import status'to check the status of the import job.

Note

From version v5.2 onwards, when a user downloads any specimen event template to update the events, the user will see the specific event name with the ID field instead of 'Record ID' since it was very confusing to the user while updating the specimen events.

Example:

  1. 'Fixed Event ID' for 'Fixed Event'
  2. 'Frozen Event ID' for 'Frozen Event
