How to create aliquots using BO?

Case 1: Aliquots labels are system generated

The 'Specimen Aliquots' BO template is used to create aliquots when the labels are system generated. Refer to Create an aliquots wiki page for more details.

Case 2: Aliquots labels are manual

1. Use create specimens' BO template and specify lineage as 'Aliquot' and parent specimen label. Refer to Create a specimen wiki page for more details.
2. If you wish to close the parent specimens after aliquots are created, then use the update specimen BO template and set the activity status as "Closed." Refer to Update Specimens for more details.
