Registering Participants

Register participants to the protocol

  1. Navigate to Collection Protocol → Click on the 'Add Participant' button

  2. Enter the data and click on the 'Add participant' button

Register participant to multiple studies

A participant can be a part of multiple ongoing studies at the biobank. You can create a participant who can be registered to multiple studies.

  1. Navigate to the participant overview page

  2. Click on the ‘More' button and click on the 'Add to Another CP’ button

  3. Select the CP to which the participant is to be registered and click on 'Proceed'

  4. Click on 'Add Participant'

The participant will be registered to the new study, and the study name will be visible in the ‘Other Registered Protocols’ section.

Also, a participant can be registered to another protocol using the following three fields

  1. SSN/NID

  2. eMPI

  3. MRN

Steps to add the participant to another protocol

  1. While adding a participant, enter the same SSN as entered for the participant of another CP and click on ‘Add participant’

  2. From the matching participant page, click again on ‘Add participant’

  3. The participant will be registered to the new study, and the study name will be visible in the ‘Other Registered Protocols’ section.
