A 'visit' is a day on which one or more specimens are collected. In the case of a longitudinal study, this could correspond to an 'event point' in the study, e.g. day 0 - Screen event, day 30 - surgery, day 90 - follow-up, etc. In the case of normal biobanking collections, this could correspond to the day the specimen was collected.
