CP Specific Catalog

Admins can create catalogs that CP-specific users can access by setting the catalog at the CP level.

Pre-requisite: A catalog should already be created

How to attach a ‘Catalog’ to a CP

  1. Navigate to CP Settings --> Catalog.

  2. From the dropdown, select the intended ‘Catalog’.

  3. Come back to ‘CP List View' and click on 'View Catalog’

Advantages:

  1. Instead of creating 1 catalog per CP, you can re-use the catalogs and attach to multiple CPs. Makes it easier if you want to make changes to a catalog.

  2. Only the user’s that have the CP access, will be able to see the catalog.

Disadvantages:

  1. No option to make the catalog ‘Public’
