Why can't I see pending specimens under a visit?

To reduce the clutter on the user interface, the planned specimens can be hidden after a number of days if not collected. This is controlled by a setting 'Pending Specimens Display Interval' (Default value - 60 days)

  1. Setting value '0' or blank indicates that you prefer to keep pending specimens visible all the time

  2. If your intention is to hide the pending specimens after 30 days from the visit date, you can set the value to 30.

Please note that the show/hide button will only appear when the pending specimens are automatically hidden due to this setting.

From the Visits page, you can show such pending specimens using the Show Pending option.

Once shown, you can hide such pending specimens using the ‘Hide Pending’ option.
