Click the search box at the top of the screen. Type the first few characters of what you are looking for. Keep typing until the record you are looking for is displayed. Once found, click on the record to navigate to that record.

Search for record using the global search, say participants/users/visits/CP, etc. You will see an icon that will open the link in the new ta in the results list view.
