Create Vendors

It is possible to link vendor details with the supplies. There are 2 options to do this

Create a vendor and link it to the supply type
Directly add vendor while creating 'Supply Type'/'Supplies'.

Steps to create vendors

Click 'Vendors' tab on 'Supplies' page

Click 'Add New' tab next to 'Vendor' field on 'Create Supply Type'/'Create Supplies' page
Enter vendor name and details
Click 'Create'

Create Locations

You can create a 'Location', e.g. a room, a cupboard, a drawer and link it with the supply. This will help you to track the actual storage location of the 'Supplies'.

Steps to create locations

Click 'Locations' tab on 'Supplies' page
Enter the name and the site for the location
Click 'Create'

You can create a hierarchy of the locations. If you had previously created locations for a site, while creating a new location, an extra field 'Parent location' pops up. You can select the parent location. The newly created location is added under the parent location, e.g. Cupboard no. 2 in room no. 12
