Before starting with data entry, below are pre-requisite that needs to be done.

• Install mobile application apk on your mobile phone or tablet.

• Configure the URL of the server you want to access and log in with your Username and Password. Refer to the https://openspecimen.atlassian.net/wiki/spaces/DEV/pages/1139245103/Mobile+App+Configuration#Configure-the-server-URL wiki page for more details.

Collection Protocol Search

Once you login to the mobile application, you can view the collection protocol list view page. You have to select a particular collection protocol under which you want to do data entry.

To search the collection protocol, follow the below steps:

1. Click on the search icon on the right-hand side corner on the collection protocol list view page. As shown in the below image.

2. Enter the collection protocol title. Then you will get the suggestions of related collection protocols.

Note: You don’t have to enter the complete collection protocol title. Entering a few words from the collection protocol in the right sequence will be fine. E.g., For the '001-115 collection protocol,' if you enter 001 in the search window, the collection protocol “001-115” will appear in the suggestion.

Navigation

You can navigate the different data levels by clicking on the three dots at the right-hand side corner of the page, as shown in the screenshot below.

If you are on the specimen page and want to view the patient or visit level data, you can click on the CP or patient’s name, and you will get redirected to the list view of the patient or visit where you can check the details.

Note: You can navigate to any page by clicking on their labels. The navigation follows the child-parent hierarchy, i.e., you can not go to the visit or specimens page via the patient's overview page using this feature.
