User can create create query for any fields from consents page.Follow the steps to create a query for consent statement 'Consent to process RNA and DNA samples':OpenSpecimen stores specimens at participant level. There can be one or more consent statements defined for a CP with responses "Yes", "No", or "Not Specified".
This query example shows how to search for all participants who have said "Yes" for "Consent to process DNA". You can view this query on the demo site here: 'Consent Based Query'
- Go to home page and click on 'Queries' card
- Click on 'Create' button from queries list page
Create query as Add filter: 'Participant-->Consent Statement-->Equal>Equals-->Consent to process RNA and DNA samples'
User can add multiple consent statements by using operator 'Is One Of' or can query for all the consent statements by using operator 'Exists'Add filter: 'Participant-->Consent Response-->Equals-->Yes'Info Click on 'View Records' button
User will be able to view the responses of all participants given for the selected consent statement.
User can add any desired columns as they wish to see in the query results table, e.g. 'Consent Statement', 'Consent Response', etc.
Query with multiple consent statements
To handle multiple consent statements, repeat the above by using "Is One Of" filter condition.
(Consent statement "is one of" [Consent to process DNA, Consent to store the samples for research] and Consent Response = Yes)
Defining results view
Follow the steps to add Consent's columns in the results view table of the created query:
- Click Click on 'Columns' button from the query results page
- Select the desired columns that you wish to view in the results table by checking the checkbox and click on 'Done' button
User can view all the participants records based on their responses given for the consent statements
Follow the steps to create query for participants having consent responses as 'Yes'
- Go to home page and click on 'Queries' card
- Click on 'Create' button and create query as 'Participant --> Consent Response-->Equals--> Yes'
User can select multiple protocols while creating query by adding one more filter as 'Collection Protocol--> Short Title--> Is One Of→ select the desired CPs from the dropdown'
You can now view the records with participant and specimen details
