The user can create the query for any consent's fields.Follow the steps to create a query for consent statement e.g. 'OpenSpecimen stores specimens at participant level. There can be one or more consent statements defined for a CP with responses "Yes", "No", or "Withdrawn".

This query example shows how to search for all participants who have said "Yes" for "Consent to process RNA and DNA samples':". You can view this query on the demo site here: <SR: Create this on demo site>

  1. Go to home page and click on 'Queries' card
  2. Click on 'Create' button from queries list page
  3. Create query as Add filter: 'Participant-->Consent Statement-->Equals-->Consent to process RNA and DNA samples'

    1. Add filter: 'Participant-->Consent Response-->Equals-->Yes'

Query with multiple consent statements

To handle multiple consent statements, repeat the above by using

The user can add any columns as they wish to see in the query results table, e.g. 'Consent Statement', 'Consent Response', etc." filter condition.

Defining results view

Follow the steps to add columns in the results table of the created query:

  1. Click on 'Columns' button from the query results page 
  2. Select the columns that you wish to view in the results table by checking the checkbox and click on 'Done' button

User can view participant's records based on their responses given for any consent statements.

Follow the steps to create query for participants having consent responses as 'Yes'

  1. Go to home page and click on 'Queries' card
  2. Click on 'Create' button and create query as 'Participant --> Consent Response-->Equals--> Yes'

User will be able to view the list of participants having consent responses as 'Yes'.

User can select multiple protocols to be included in the search while creating query by adding one more filter as 'Collection Protocol--> Short Title--> Is One Of→ Select multiple CPs from the dropdown'           Image Removedrecords with participant and specimen details
