Number of Aliquots	Integer	Yes if parent quantity not specified or quantity per aliquot not specified		When left blank the number of aliquots=(parent quantity/quantity per aliquots)
Container	String	No	Needs to be specified if the specimen is not virtually located	Container specified should be existing Suitable to hold the specimen (based on type and protocol) Should have available positions. The specimen gets stored at the next available position within the container
Start Row	String or Integer	No	Datatype depending on the row labelling scheme (Numbers, Alphabets Upper Case, Alphabet Lower Case, Roman Upper Case, Roman Lower Case)
Start Column	String or Integer	No	Datatype depending on the column labelling scheme (Numbers, Alphabets Upper Case, Alphabet Lower Case, Roman Upper Case, Roman Lower Case)
