Introduction

We are happy to announce that v10.1 is ready for download! This release includes new features, usability enhancements, and bug fixes requested by customers. 

New features include:

• Specimen - Storage site based specimen edit check access

• Specimen check in check out

• Workflows Plugin: List of tasks, form and table view with validations, navigation to previous step

Specimen Module Features

There are 2 major features developed in the specimen module

1. Storage site based edit access check - User who does not have access to the site where the specimen is stored, is not allowed to edit the specimen

2. Check-in Check-out

   • Check-out specimens for research using retrieve option

   • Positions for these specimens will be blocked until check-in or user unblocks them

   • Check-in specimens using transfer option

   • Check-out specimens while distribution and check-in when returned

   • Transfer events capture the ‘CHECK-IN/CHECK-OUT' status

   • Query for all checked out samples

   • Bulk import using specimen, order and return template for check-in/check-out

Workflows Plugin
