A "Service" “Service” is any activity that a biobank performs for its client. Examples of services include, but are not limited to, pulling required specimens from inventory, extracting DNA/RNA, preparing tissue blocks, performing QC checks, and aliquoting specimens. To start using Project Tracker, you first need to add services to the "Site"“Site”. Here, "Site" “Site” is defined as the place (i.e., Biobank) that provides services to the researcher. Next, you will have to assign "Project users" “Project users” within the service-providing site. Project users are the project administrators who can add/edit projects. Multiple services and project users can be assigned to a site.
