Create Supply Items

  1. Select the supply under which you want to add the item from the supply list view page.

  2. Click on the 'Add Items' button.

  3. Add the supply barcode separated by a comma, tab, or newline. Click on 'Add Items'.

  4. You will see a pop-up with a number of items added to the supply.

Edit Supply Items

  1. Go to the items list view via the 'Items' button on the left-hand side of the supply. Click on the edit button on the right-hand side of the item.

  2. You will receive a pop-up like below. Add the new barcode and click on the update.

Note: You can not edit the used barcodes.

Using Supply Items

  1. To use the supply item go to the 'Items' list view. Click on the square icon beside the pencil icon.

  2. You will receive a popup, here you can select whether the item is expired, damaged, or misplaced and provide the description.

Import Supply Items

You can create/update items using bulk import. For more details, refer to a wiki page.

Creating new supply by moving the items

You can create a new supply with items that belong to the existing supply. This feature is helpful when you added a bunch of items to one supply and want to create a new supply using those items. For reasons like storing items . Refer to a wiki page for more details.

  1. Go to an existing supply from where you want to move the items. Supplies → Types → Supply → Items.

  2. Select one or more items from the supply and click on the 'New Supply' button on top.

  3. Update the required details on the below page. Make sure you enter a new supply ‘Name' to avoid duplicate supply name errors. Click on the 'Create’ once details are updated.

  4. You will receive a popup like below that shows a number of items moved. Click on 'Ok'.

  5. You can see the new supply gets created with moved items.

Moving Supply items

You can move items from an existing supply to another existing supply

  2. Enter the barcodes which are under another existing supply. Click on 'Add Items' button.

  3. You will receive a popup like below which shows a number of items moved from one supply to another. Click on 'Ok'

  4. You can go to the 'Items' button and check the items are moved to supply.

Supply Items Expiry

Expired supply items get automatically marked as "Expired" after the specified expiry date is given in supply with the description ‘Auto expired.’
