When user does a search using OpenSpecimen query interface, the results returned might be very large based on the filters used. Showing everything on UI all the records on the user interface is of not much use to user and might take longervery long. Often such searches are done to export the data so that the data can be analyzed offline in Excel, SPSS, etc.
With this in mind, OpenSpecimen shows only subset(a maximum of 10,000 ) if records. If the number of records returned is more than 10,000. User , user can export the whole data set in a CSV for further processing.
