Why does exported query data file has more records than shown on UI?

When the user does a search using the OpenSpecimen query interface, the results returned might be very large. Showing all the records on the user interface is of not much use to the user and might take very long. Often such searches are done to export the data so that the data can be analyzed offline in Excel, SPSS, etc.

With this in mind, OpenSpecimen shows a maximum of 10,000 records. If the number of records returned is more than 10,000, the user can export the whole data set in a CSV for further processing.
