Support for Multiple Specimen Units
Reported by: Columbia University Irving Medical Center, University of Utah
Many of our customers have multiple groups of users using the same OpenSpecimen application with requirement of different specimen units. To facilitate this, we have implemented configuring specimen units per CP and across the systemOne of the most awaited enhancements, many clients who regularly onboard newer research groups, usually face challenges in making specimen units uniform and apply that for all the legacy samples. With this major enhancement, we are providing:
Support separate specimen units per CP (quantity units, concentration units).
No impact on current setup of specimen types/ units with upgrade.
Superadmins can view/ edit specimen units across the system from one place.
Note: If units are updated after specimens are collected, then the existing specimens won't be automatically recalculated.

Auditing Enhancements
New Features:Previous audit reports based on user/ object type were resource intensive and time-consuming. To get accurate results, users often used to run multiple audit reports, resulting in environment slowness/ breakdown, etc.
Export audit logs based on the object identifiers. For example: Download audit log for specimen IDs 1,2,3
Users can generate only one audit report at one time to minimize usage of server resources
