A Collection Protocol (CP) is a guideline or SOP for what, how, and when biospecimens are collected for a study. 

There should be at least one CP to start collecting specimens.

The below diagram outlines the logical steps to collect specimens. This is to demonstrate the logical flow of data. The actual user interface supports rapid/bulk data entry, and additional custom plugins can be developed to support local workflows.
