To collect derivative: ‘Specimens’ Tab → Click on the primary specimen, → Click on three dots at the right-hand side, → Click on ‘Create Derivative.’

Collect Specimen By Scanning Barcode

You can collect a specimen by scanning a barcode of a particular participant.

Collection Protocol → Click on participant → Click on visit → Slide to specimen tab → Click on the ‘+' sign or planned specimen → Click on the camera icon beside the ‘Name’ field→ scan the barcode → Click on 'SAVE.’

You can search for a specimen by scanning the barcode too.
