Auto Container Allocation

When collecting specimens, there are two ways to store a specimen in a container:

1. Manually select the box - time-consuming, error-prone

2. Let OpenSpecimen automatically allocate the box - ideal for high-throughput biobanks

The “auto allocate” feature decides which box to allocate the specimen based on configuration. The configuration can be based on several factors, such as CP title, specimen type, quantity, or even the value of a custom field.
