Dashlets and Dashboard
Introduction
Dashlets are widgets within OpenSpecimen that provide quick insights, allowing you to monitor or display important metrics at a glance.
You can easily add and arrange your Dashlets to create a customized dashboard that meets your specific needs.
Managing Dashlets
Preview Dashlets
Navigate to 'Extras' → Dashlets
You can search for the dashlet you wish to preview using filters.
Click on the title of the dashlet to view the graph/counter.
How to Attach the Dashlets
Catalogs
To give graphical representation of data, OpenSpecimen allows showing dashboards before viewing the actual catalog.
Navigate to the Catalog of your choice, Click on the Dashboard Icon → Add ‘Dashlet’ → Select the Dashlet → Click on 'Add'
Collection Protocol
User can attach the dashlet at Collection Protocol, to just show the data for specific protocol.
View CP Details --> Settings
Dashboard --> Add ‘Dashlet’ --> Select the Dashlet --> Click on 'Add'
Click on ‘Preview’ to view the CP Specific Dashboard.
Organize Dashlets
The order in which dashlets appear can be modified within a Catalog or Collection Protocol. All Users who have edit access to the catalog can add/remove/re-arrange the dashlets attached to it as needed.
Navigate to the Dashboard of your choice. This can be a dashboard added to a catalog or a collection protocol; the steps for both are the same.
Click on ‘Sort’
Use the ‘Arrows’ to reorder
Click on ‘Save' and 'Preview’ to view the changes.
