Use a Kit for Visit and Specimen Collection

Introduction
Once kits are created and shipped to the collection site, they can be used for specimen collection.
Each kit contains a unique barcode that is mapped to a visit in OpenSpecimen. When the user scans the kit barcode in the visit name field, OpenSpecimen automatically retrieves the associated specimen details.
All relevant information is populated instantly, eliminating the need for manual data entry and significantly improving efficiency and accuracy.
Steps to Use a Kit for Visit and Specimen Collection
From Participant overview page, collect the new visit. Use the kit barcode as visit name
Collect Specimens: All the specimens barcodes that are created while generating the kits will be auto-populated.
This way, all the pre-printed visit/specimens are associated with the participant
