Scan boxes from various screens
Introduction
Users can now add all specimens from a scanned box directly to carts, workflow batches, shipments, or orders. This eliminates the need to scan or copy/paste individual specimen barcodes, improving productivity.
Cart:
Navigate to Cart → Click on the +Create button → Click on the scan option and select the box scanner.
Orders:
Navigate to Orders → Click on the +Create button → Go to the specimen tab → Click on the scan option and select the box scanner OR on the Return Specimen page.
Shipment:
Navigate to Shipment → Click on the +Create button → Go to the specimen tab → Click on the scan option and select the box scanner.
Workflow Batches:
Navigate to Workflows → Click on the Workflow button → Search for the Box Scanner workflow → Click on +create button → Scan and select box scanner.
After selecting the Box Scanner, the specimens are created with tube barcodes.
