Column Summary

Example 1: Total Volume of Available Plasma Specimens.

Consider you want to see the specimens and their individual quantities, but at the same time, you want to check the total quantity as well of the specimens that are listed.

This is not possible via ‘Aggregate Functions’, but can be achieved using ‘Column Summary’

1. Create filters

2. Click on 'View Records' and from the results view, click on 'Actions→Columns'.

3. Select the columns needed in the report and click on Next to go to ‘Reporting Options’. Select ‘Report Type' as ‘Column Summary’, 'Sum Fields’ as 'Specimen: Available Quantity’.

4. Click on 'Done' to see the results.
