How to import data for sub-form fields?

Below is an example form that has a subform ‘Hormone Work Details’ with 4 fields

  1. Hormone

  2. Date

  3. Value

  4. Unit

Import Data for Subform

When you download the template for this form, you will see repeated instances of the subform fields as columns.

  1. Each column of this subform begins with the subform name, followed by the field name.

    1. Hormone Work details#1#Hormone

    2. Hormone Work details#1#Date

    3. Hormone Work details#1#Value

    4. Hormone Work details#1#Unit

  2. The default template you download includes two entries for the sub-form.

  3. If you need to add more records to the sub-form, you need to add more columns ahead

Data Entry

When you enter values for columns #1 and #2, and then import,

Handling Multiselect Dropdown

Use case

  • The sub-form has multiselect dropdown field as shown in the screenshot below

  • Then each value for this field needs to added in a separate column as shown below.

  • You can increase the columns if there are more values like below

    • Light Peach Area#1#Hx of skin cancer#1

    • Light Peach Area#1#Hx of skin cancer#2

    • Light Peach Area#1#Hx of skin cancer#3

    • Light Peach Area#1#Hx of skin cancer#4
