Query for searching specimens that do not have child specimens

You are trying to find specimens that have no child specimens, i.e., specimens that have not been processed yet.

Steps to create the query:

  1. Go to Queries --> Create a ‘Create’ to create a new query.

  2. Expand the ‘Specimen’ section to add the following filter:

    • Specimen >> Processing Event >> Processing Event ID Not Exists

    • Other required filters like: Specimen >> Lineage Is One Of ["Derived", "New"]
      I.e., if you are looking to find both ‘New’ and ‘Derived’ specimens that have not been processed.

  3. Click on ‘View Records’ and Select the columns you want to display.

  4. Save the query.
