Actions on Events/Specimen Requirement
Clone Events or Specimen Requirements (SR)
Some studies may have similar Events or SRs. In such cases, instead of recreating them manually, you can use the copy feature to clone on one-click.
Clone an Event with all the SRs under it.
Clone an SR with all its child SRs.
This helps save time and maintain consistency across similar study setups.
Delete
You can delete unwanted Events or SRs—for example, those created by mistake. However, deletion is only allowed if no visit or specimen has been collected for them.
Use “Close” feature if visit or specimens are collected.
Close Events / SRs
Sometimes, the visit or specimen collection is discontinued. In such cases, the event/SR can be marked as "Closed."
Impact of closing an event/SR:
Any associated visit or specimen will remain as-is.
No new visits or SRs can be collected.
The closed events/SR will be visible in the CP for audit purposes.
Reopen Events / SRs
To reopen the event, click the 3 dots next to the closed event or SR and select ‘Reopen’.
Reorder Events
The events are ordered by the timepoint interval field. E.g. 0-day, 10th-day, and 30th-day events. If no timepoint is specified, then the events are displayed in the order of creation.
Reorder SRs
The SRs can be reordered using the “Sort Order” column. By default, SRs are ordered by creation date. You can change the order by specifying the order number in the column below.
