Audit Trail

Every operation on each OpenSpecimen object of add, edit, or delete is audited. On the object overview page there is a button ‘Audit Trail’ which will give you a quick look of revisions done on that record.

The only values available in the audit trail are entered by, entered on, updated by and updated on. To check the other details for the updates, please refer to the wiki page https://openspecimen.atlassian.net/wiki/x/DYDaE.

For example: To check who created a user account, you can follow the below steps

Navigate the user overview page
Click on the ‘Audit Trail’ button

This action will open a pop-up displaying details about the user who added the entry, including the date it was added. Additionally, it will show the most recent update, including who performed the update and when it occurred.
In the revisions tab, there is a list of all updates done on the record.
