1. Heparin Processing

  • Receive specimens:

  • Pool specimens and print labels:

  • Enter ficoll isolation data:

  • Pool specimens again:

  • Derive PBMC:

  • Scan QR Code for all PBMC aliquots:

2. Serum Processing

  • Receive specimens: 

  • Rest the blood tube for 60 minutes:

  • Spin the blood tube for 10 minutes at 200g:

  • Create serum aliquots:

  • Scan QR Code for aliquots:

3. Whole Blood Processing in Citrate Tube

  • Receive specimens:

  • Centrifuge the citrate tube:

  • Pipette plasma and buffy coat:

  • Send plasma tubes for further processing and store buffy coat:

  • Select the next task:

  • Store buffy coat:

  • Enter freeze date and time for the buffy coat:

  • Centrifuge plasma tubes:

  • Select next tasks:

  • Create plasma aliquots, store them and enter the freeze date and time:

  • Pipette supernatant:

  • Store supernatant:

  • Enter freeze date and time:

4. Tissue Processing

  • Obtain a fresh specimen:

  • Assign next tasks:

  • Select fixation and proceed:

  • Enter dehydration details:

  • Enter details for tissue clearing:

  • Enter details for embedding:

  • Create DNA and RNA aliquots:

  • Freeze RNA and DNA aliquots:

  • Store aliquots:

5. Na-Heparin Processing

  • Receive blood tubes:

  • Select the next task:

  • Execute dry blood spot:

  • Select next task:

  • Enter ficoll isolation details:

  • Spin ficoll tubes:

  • Pool Specimens:

  • Spin ficoll tubes:

  • Count PBMCs:

The ‘Quantity' field is calculated automatically when you enter values for ‘Cell Counted’ and 'Dilution Factor’.

  • Create PBMC tubes:

  • The aliquots count and quantity are calculated automatically based on the parent quantity.

  • ‘Freezing Medium A’ is calculated as aliquots count / 2.

  • Scan QR code:
