OpenSpecimen allows user to download the query definition of any saved queries from the system. A query definition can be exported and imported from one instance of OpenSpecimen to another. E.g. QA server to production server. This will reduce the time of the user and user can export and import the same query.

Follow the steps to download the query definition:

1. Go to queries list page and click on the dotted menu of saved query whose definition we have to download  
2. Select option 'Download Query Definition', system will download the query definition file in JSON format

The downloaded JSON file can be imported on other instance of OpenSpecimen, E.g. Production instance
