This template is used when specimen label auto-generation is on for aliquots. Refer 'Label Configuration' to set label format to auto-generate specimen labels.

Steps to import CSV

  1. Go to the collection protocols list page, click on the 'Import' button, and select option 'Biospecimen Data' OR
  2. Go to the participants list page of the CP under which the aliquot specimens have to be created/updated, click on the 'More' button and select the option 'Biospecimen Data.'
  3. Select 'Specimen Aliquots' from the 'Select Record Type' dropdown and click on 'Download Template File' to download the template file
  4. Enter all valid data in the template file as mentioned in the below 'Data Dictionary' table
  5. Upload the filled template file in the 'Input Records File' field
  6. Click on the 'Validate and Import' button
  7. Refer 'Import status' to check the status of import job

  1. Container specified should exist.
  2. Suitable to hold the specimen (based on type and protocol)
  3. Should have available positions.
  4. The specimen gets stored at the next available position within the container.
