Abbreviations can be set for many dropdown values which can be used for auto-generating specimen labels. Only super admins can modify these values:

To change the default abbreviations, ‘Dropdown Manager’ plugin can be used by enterprise adopters. Only super admins can modify these values:: 

  1. Go to home page

  2. Click on ‘Extras’ card

  3. Click on ‘Dropdown Manager’ card

  4. Click on ‘Specimen Type’

  5. Click on any of the dropdown value

  6. Click on ‘Edit’ button

  7. Add ‘abbreviation’ under property name field and add the abbreviation value and click on ‘Update’
