Until v6.32, there was no way to restrict access to the Query module. In v6. 3, a new privilege ‘Query’ is added to control who has access to create or run queries. This feature is useful if you want to restrict certain users from:
Creating new queries.
Exporting data (can only view data in the UI).
Privileges
Privilege | Possible actions |

Read | Able to view and run the saved queries. |
Create and Update | Able to create new queries, import the query definitions and update the saved queries |
Delete | Able to delete the saved queries |
Export/Import | Export the query results data |
Default Roles
Researcher: Can run saved queries and Export/Import data.
All other users: Perform all operations as before.
