A "visit" is a day on which one or more specimens are collected. In case of a longitudinal study, this could correspond to an "event point" in the study, e.g. day 0 - Screen event, day 30 - surgery, day 90 - followup, etc. In case of normal biobbanking biobanking collections, this could correspond to the day the specimen was collected.
