You can remove specimens from the cart by selecting them and clicking 'Remove from cart'. This will not delete the specimens from OpenSpecimen, and it will only remove them from the cart.

Specimen Digest Notification

From v10.0 onwards users having access to the carts will be notified as soon as a specimen will be added to the cart. The digest mail will be sent via a schedule job.

  • To receive the notification users having access to the specimen cart can check the digest check box.

  • Once enabled the cart owner/creator, shared users, shared group users will receive mail as per the interval set in the job. The job interval can be set  either minutely, hourly, daily, weekly, or monthly.
  • The digest email includes the count of new specimens added to the cart, grouped by the collaborators and collection protocol.
