In OpenSpecimen LDAP(university login) can be configured. If LDAP is configured on the server, user will be able to see 2 values in the 'Domain' dropdown while creating the usersIf you configure LDAP after using OpenSpecimen for a while, then you would need to migrate your existing users to LDAP users. This can be done in bulk by importing a CSV.

The update for users is based on email address of the user. To update the domain of multiple users from LDAP to non-LDAP or vice-versa follow the steps mentioned below.

Steps:

  1. Login to your OpenSpecimen instance as super admin.

  2. Go to ‘Users→Import→Users’ and download the template file.

  3. Fill up the CSV file with user's email address and the domain name to be updated, refer . Refer to ‘Update Users’.

  4. Upload the file in OpenSpecimen to bulk import

  5. This will update the user's domain to the new LDAP.
